Several new features added to FireScan 3.0 include:

- New Device Types added: Masterbox (Initiating), Multi-Criteria Detector (Initiating), Bell/Strobe (Indicating), Egress Markers (Indicating), Signage (Indicating), System Documents (Control)
- Incorrect PDA Date Detection: Users receive a warning when PDAs have an incorrect date
- Customizable Device List View: Select and adjust desired column dimensions
- New device location and manufacturing field selections
- Duct Detector Changes: Added Function field with the following options: Air Duct, Door Release, Elevator Recall, Pre-Action System, Smoke Compartment, Shunt Trip
- Heat Detector Changes: Added Combination to Type field options. Added Function field with the following options: Air Duct, Door Release, Elevator Recall, Pre-Action System, Smoke Compartment, Shunt Trip
